11-12 June 2002, Turku, Finland
Envisioning/visioning is considered to be an essential part of futures studies methodology. Though unlike scenario building, the methods of envisioning are hardly known amongst researchers and even experts. This evidence was the decisive factor for us that the 2002 summer seminar was to discuss the methods of envisioning.
The Vision Week June 2002 was the fourth international seminar in succession organised by the Finland Futures Research Centre. Apart from the two-day Vision Seminar, the Finland Futures Research Centre, together with the Finland Futures Academy, offered a two-day Summer School in Turku dealing with the same topic.
The Vision Week gathered together nearly hundred participants from Finland and other countries like Sweden, UK, USA, Italy, Germany and Spain.
