The Turku School of Economics (TSE) provides research and higher education in the field of business science. The School conducts both basic and applied research, and offers graduate, postgraduate and adult education. Expert consulting services form an increasing part of the activities of the School.

Currently there are approximately 2,000 undergraduate students, 230 post-graduate students and 1,500 adult students. The teaching and research staff numbers about 150 and other staff 130.

A high standard of research is maintained not only by the departments within the school, but also by its auxiliary units, i.e. the Finland Futures Research Centre, the Business Research and Development Centre and the Pori Unit.

Location

TSE is situated in an area well-served by transportation. Both the Helsinki motorway and the electric railway with its high-speed Pendolino train are adjacent to us. It's only 1 km to the Kupittaa railway station, 3 km to the main railroad station, 2 km to the bus station, 5 km to the harbor and 9 km to the airport (location on map, print out pdf).

The conference premises will have computers available for Internet-connections. In addition, wireless connections operating in the conference premises for own laptop-computers are available for conference participants during the conference. All these services are free of charge for the conference participants.
